The Manitoba Homecoming 2010 VIP travel package is your way to bring 2 special people to Manitoba - former Manitobans or those who've never been here before. Accommodations, rental car, attraction passes and some meal and gas vouchers are all included. Prize Package includes:
Winnipeg: 2 nights, 2 days
One night stay in Winnipeg at the Inn at the Forks. Enjoy a relaxing 1 hour couples massage, sparkling wine and chocolate strawberries delivered to the room and breakfast for two at the Current restaurant.
One night stay at the Radisson hotel with complimentary passes to the Manitoba Museum, Winnipeg Art Gallery, Winnipeg Zoo, and the Royal Canadian Mint.
Interlake: 2 nights, 3 days
Includes two nights accommodation at the fabulous Radisson Hecla Oasis Resort on Hecla Island. Also includes family passes to Lower Fort Garry National Historic Site, (Selkirk), the New Iceland Heritage Museum, (Gimli), a personalized tour of the Sea Wall with one of the local artists on the Sea Wall in Gimli, family lunch or early dinner at Lakeview Resort- Seagulls Restaurant. From Gimli, it's a scenic drive to Hecla Island for your overnight.
Day 2- Choose your activity: Golfing, a nature tour, a Hecla Village tour, or take a trip to Integrity Foods. Explore their bakery, gardens, or, depending on the day, take part in Pizza Night in the gardens. Return to Hecla island for your second overnight at Radisson Hecla Oasis Resort. Take advantage of the wonderful pool area or walk the shores of Lake Winnipeg, Manitoba's inland ocean.
Day 3- return trip from Hecla Island, and on the way stop in Riverton for your private tour of the Riverton Heritage & Transportation Centre. Then make your way to Arborg for your visit at the Arborg & District Multicultural Heritage Village for a private tour by costumed interrupters. Stop at Oak Hammock Marsh Interruptive Centre, (family pass included), for a tour and, weather permitting, a canoe ride in the Marsh.
Pembina Valley: 2 nights, 2 days
Price package includes a two night camping pass in Carman, a family swim pass at Carman Aquatic Centre, a $50.00 gas voucher and complimentary entrance to Pembina Valley Amazing Race, (if applicable at time of prize redemption).
Parkland: 2 nights, 2 days
Includes a Chalet stay or 2 night Room Stay at Elkhorn Resort and Spa, including a round of golf for two at the Elkhorn par three course, a one day mineral pool pass for two, and window seat reservation in the Mountain Grill Restaurant for Classic Sunday breakfast for two.
Western: 2 nights, 2 days
Enjoy a 2 night stay at Country Comfort B & B, golf for two at Pleasant Valley Golf Course and Killarney Lakeside Golf Courses including cart rental and lunch and car entrance pass to the International Peace Gardens.
Eastern: 1 night, 1 day

Prize Redemption:
Non-residents: Non-residents may redeem all prize package components within a two week time period in summer of 2010, (between May 1, 2010 and September 30, 2010). Prize will include flight to Winnipeg for two people from anywhere in Canada or the United States. Transportation throughout the province is also included, courtesy of Travel Manitoba and its partners. Non-residents will be provided with a rental car.
Residents: Residents of Manitoba can choose to take the prize package component within a two week time period in summer of 2010, (between May 1, 2010 and September 30, 2010), or redeem individual components throughout the entire year of 2010. Residents of Manitoba will be provided with gas vouchers for transportation throughout the province.
